Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what In Development Studios ("we", "us") collects and how we use it across our products, including our producer-matching platform at indevelopmentstudios.com.

1. What we collect

Account data. Your email address and a hashed password, stored with our authentication provider (Supabase). One account is shared across In Development Studios products.

Artist profile. Details you choose to add — artist name, location (city, state, country), your setup (DAW, instruments, plugins), and any links you provide (such as a SoundCloud URL).

Your tracks. Audio you upload, held so we can analyze it and let you use it in the product. We do not sell your audio or use it to train models.

Sonic analysis. Acoustic features we derive from your track — for example tempo, energy, key, and other audio metrics — plus a fingerprint. Matching is based on this analysis, which is what lets us connect producers by sound rather than by followers.

Matches and connections. Records of the matches you're shown, feedback you give, and connections you make on the platform.

Payments. Handled by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. We receive only what we need to activate your plan.

Technical logs. Standard server logs (timestamps, request metadata, errors) used to keep the service running and prevent abuse.

2. How we use it

To analyze your track, match you with producers who share your sonic profile, operate and secure the service, process payments, and respond to you. We don't use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

3. What other users can see

Matching is the core of the product, so parts of your artist profile and your track's sonic analysis are shown to producers you're matched with. Please keep that in mind when deciding what to add to your profile — treat it as information you're comfortable sharing with potential collaborators.

4. Advertising

Some In Development Studios products — such as our AI stem-separation tool at idai.indevelopmentstudios.com — show ads on their free plan, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve, personalize, and measure ads across our domain. You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Our producer-matching platform itself does not display ads, and paid plans across our products show no ads.

5. Who processes data for us

Supabase (accounts and file storage), Stripe (payments), Google (advertising on our ad-supported products), and our analysis/compute provider (track processing). Each receives only what its role requires.

6. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your audio with anyone except the infrastructure that analyzes and stores it to run the service.

7. Retention

Account data, your profile, tracks, and analysis are kept while your account exists. Logs rotate on a short schedule. When you delete your account, we remove your account data; some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data — email indevelopmentstudios.help@gmail.com and we'll act within 30 days. Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing. Deleting your account removes the login shared across all In Development Studios products.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes and contact

We'll post any material changes here. Questions: indevelopmentstudios.help@gmail.com.
